EOS launch approved by miners, network will launch Saturday 1300 UTC (6am ET)

After tense discussions between teams aiming to become one of EOS's 21 'block producers' (miners), the candidates have agreed on the basic rules of the network and will launch it tomorrow (Sat) at 1300 UTC.

The launch will be a first real-life test for the EOS software, released by Block One after a $4B year-long ICO. Many in the crypto industry are interested to see if the network can live up to its promise - The EOS total market cap is currently more than $13 billion.
