The FBI agent whose dancing went viral when he did a flip in a nightclub that ended in dropping his gun and shooting someone has been arrested.
Identified as Chase Bishop, the agent from the video is being held at a Denver detention center for investigation of second-degree assault while awaiting formal charges from the Denver district attorney's office.
Bishop was dancing at a Denver bar called Mile High Spirits on June 2 when he decided to show off his back handspring. While he was flipping through the air his firearm fell out of his waistband, and when he went to grab it, it discharged into the crowd that was gathered around.
An onlooker was struck in the leg by the errant round, narrowly missing an artery, according to the man's attorney in a statement to KGMH.
